Governor Phil Murphy recently signed NJAA-supported legislation that will bring New Jersey’s eviction moratorium to an end. Additionally, the law provides tenant protections to avoid an eviction crisis and expands New Jersey’s rental assistance programs.  This class will provide an overview of the legislation, the rental assistance programs expanded under the law, the steps that need to be taken by your company, legal considerations, and what we expect as it pertains to the reopening of the courts for landlord-tenant matters.
