On Wednesday, November 7, 2012, Joel Rosenfeld, Adjunct Assistant Professor at New York University, The Schack Real Estate and consultant to Smolin Lupin & Co, will present “Forms of Real Estate Ownership” to members and guests of the POA. The program will take place at the Wilshire Grand in West Orange at 350 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ beginning at 6:30p.m. The program is graciously sponsored by Garden State Gutter Cleaning.

The presentation will address the proper selection of forms of ownership such as LLC, LP as well as Partnership and Corporations. Tenancies in common and Multi-Tiered Partnerships will also be discussed as well as how to beat the NJ “Tax Head”. The form of ownership of real estate has significant legal, tax, financial and practical consequences. Join us at this meeting to gain a understanding of the importance of selecting the proper form of ownership when acquiring real property. We will also explore the legal and tax implications of the proper selection and the dire consequences of the incorrect form of ownership.
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with our “Ask An Expert” panel followed by a brief business meeting. At 7:15p.m. the Legal Forum hosted by of Ehrlich, Petriello, Gudin & Plaza will begin followed at 7:45p.m. by the featured presentation.
