On Wednesday, October 29th the Property Owners Association will offer a “Tax Update-1031, Cost Segregation, Appeals and Law Update.” The program will take place at The Wilshire Grand Hotel, 350 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ, and begin at 6:30 p.m. and is sponsored by Marcus & Millichap.This program is key to all multi-family property owners.  John Mitros, Richard Boyd and Vince Vienna of the accounting firm Smolin, Lupin & Co. in Fairfield will discuss 1031 exchanges, cost segregation and tax updates. Dan Pollak, Esq. of  WolfBlock Brach Eichler of Roseland will provide you with much needed information regarding current tax laws and appeals.  Eric Goldberg of Chicago Deferred Exchange Co. will be also be speaking on the subject of 1031.

The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a First Time Investor Forum hosted by Mike Shulman of Rent-A-Room Properties.  This will be followed by a brief business meeting at 7:00pm.  The law firm of Levy, Ehrlich & Petriello will then host our legal forum.  The featured presentation will begin at 7:45pm.
