| Join us for an evening of networking and the amazing Scott Hirschfeld who is the Interim Director of DCR’s Education and Training Unit, where he develops educational programs on civil rights and anti-discrimination topics. He will be sharing insight into the NJ Law Against Discrimination in Housing. The New Jersey Law Against Discrimination in Housing All New Jersey residents and those seeking housing have the right to an experience that is free from discrimination. This session will provide an overview of the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (LAD) and review housing protections under the LAD. Participants will discuss topics including source of lawful income discrimination, reasonable accommodations, service and support animals, and the Fair Chance in Housing Act.
