November 11th Hot Topics In Fair Housing With Special Guest Speaker Dodi Gershen

Join us on Wednesday, November 11^th as special guest speaker Dodi Gershen, , C.P.M.  Vice President and Director of Management of the Gershen Group LLC shares her wealth of experience and knowledge with POA members and guests.  The program will take place at the Wilshire Grand in West Orange beginning at 6:30p.m. and is sponsored by Chrono Energy, Cloud 9, Rifkin & Rosen Ultimate Property Loss Consultants as well as Servpro of East Windsor.

Ms. Gershen is a licensed real estate broker in the State o f New Jersey and holds numerous certifications in the area of real estate and rental property management. She received a Certified Property Manager designation from IREM, and is the supervising C.P.M. for the Firms’ Accredited Management Organization® designation. She has received the title of National Assisted Housing Professional, Executive Level from the New Jersey Affordable Housing Management Association (JAHMA). She also has a seat on the National Center for Housing Management’s National Certification Review Board. Ms. Gershen will  share the owner/manager’s perspective on fair housing including topics such as “disparate impact” and the “violence against women’s act” as they relate to the communities rules and regulations and building’s employees.

The evening will begin with the First Time Investors Seminar, where landlords learn the ABC’s of owning and managing properties.  At 7:00p.m we will have our Legal Forum hosted by Ehrlich Petriello Gudin & Plaza followed by a brief business meeting.  Our featured presentation will begin at 7:45pm.

Attendance to this meeting is FREE to POA members, who are encouraged to bring a guest with them at no additional charge.
