Giuseppe Pennetti of Maximum Fire Escapes will be assisting owners and managers with proposed regulations 2018 IFC Chapter 11 Fire Escape Code going into effect early spring of 2023. This new code mandates all fire escapes staircase and balconies shall be examined for structural adequacy and safety in accordance with section IFC 1104.16.5 by a registered design professional every 5 years. An Inspection report shall be submitted to the fire code official after
such examination, for the state of NJ.
