On Wednesday, September 10th , Steven Buch of Stuyvesant Yale and Leigh Ann Zaolino, CPM Field Office Manager with the Department of Community Affairs Housing Division will speak to POA members and guests about the Section 8 Program. The program will take place at the Wilshire Grand at 350 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The program is graciously sponsored by Rifkin & Rosen and Apartments.com. The Section 8 program provides rental assistance to low income households by subsidizing rent payments with direct payments to landlords. Often there are several questions and misunderstandings about the program and our aim is to answer those questions and provide landlords with a clear picture of the program.
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a First Time Investors Seminar, to be followed at 7:00 p.m. by a brief business meeting. The Legal Forum will follow at 7:15pm. Our featured presentation will follow.
Attendance at this meeting is FREE for POA members, who are also encouraged to bring a guest with them at no charge. Super Stars are allowed to bring three non- members with them. Non-members can attend for a fee of $35, which is applicable to membership dues if they join within 30 days.
