On Wednesday, October 14, 2009, Ed Tomkiewicz, Supervisor of Enforcement for the Bureau of Housing, Department of Community Affairs will address members and guests of the POA.  The program will take place at the Wilshire Grand in West Orange at 350 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ beginning at 6:30p.m.  The program is graciously sponsored by Lew Corp."We are always honored to have Mr. Tomkiewicz speak.  His vast knowledge and experience is invaluable to our members" stated POA President Jeff Itzkowitz, Esq.  "He always draws a crowd and conveys so many crucial pieces of information, it is a truly a much attend presentation."

The presentation will address the 5-year inspection process which is administered by the Department of Community Affairs, as well as other integral issues property owners need to be aware of.  Changes in requirements, what is involved in an inspection as well as the most common violations will be discussed.

The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a First Time Investors Forum hosted by Mike Shulman of Rent-A-Room Properties followed by a brief business meeting.  At 7:15p.m. the Legal Forum hosted by Bruce Gudin, Esq of Levy, Ehrlich and Petriello will begin followed at 7:45p.m. by the featured presentation.

Attendance to this meeting is FREE for POA members, who are also encouraged to bring a guest with them at no charge.  SuperStar members are welcomed to bring three non-members with them.  Non-members can attend for a nominal $35 fee, applicable to membership dues if they join within 30 days.
